Will F1 2019 serve up the excitement promised? With Oliver Myles, you can find out

Monaco GP with Oliver Myles

F1 2019 promises to be superb! With regulation changes, new drivers at teams and 21 races on some of the World’s most demanding racing circuits, there’s so many questions and subplots to be answered:

  • Can Lewis Hamilton win his sixth World Driver’s Championship (WDC)?
  • Will Charles Leclerc beat his new, illustrious team-mate Sebastian Vettel in his new surroundings at Ferrari?
  • Will Daniel Ricciardo’s move to Renault prove to be well thought out or a poor decision?
  • Can Williams and McLaren return to form?
  • Who will be the surprise driver, team and engine package?
  • Will Silverstone remain on the F1 calendar after 2019?

The cars and drivers are being officially unveiled in which to tackle F1 2019. It’s at this time of year, anticipation reaches boiling point at the hope of a competitive, adrenaline fuelled season. Fans, commentators and the teams themselves are eagerly awaiting the first practice session in Australia on 14 March when all the talking stops and the drivers & teams show their true colours.

Two of the most exciting and iconic races; Monaco and Silverstone are key dates of recent F1 seasons.  The tight confines of the race around the Principality makes this a spectacle not to be missed, whilst Silverstone hosted the first ever, official WDC race in 1950. A disused airfield that served the allied forces in WWII, Silverstone has recently been in dispute with F1’s new owners Liberty Media as to the financial terms the circuit pays for the privilege of hosting the race. Without an agreement in sight, could 2019 be Silverstone’s last race? You won’t want to miss it!
