Stay at the Pomme d’Or Hotel
Guests will be picked up from the airport where they will be taken to the beautiful Pomme d’Or hotel. Overlooking Liberation Square and the yacht marina, the Pomme d’Or has welcomed leisure and business travelers for more than 180 years.
The hotels position overlooking Liberation Square was a centerpiece marking the liberation of Jersey back to 1945, when the Union Jack was raised on the balcony of the hotel, signaling the Liberation of Jersey from the German forces.
Today the hotel combines its strong tradition of hospitality with a comfortable, contemporary design. The hotel lies in an extremely central location a short walk from most of what Jersey’s capital has to offer. Dinner will be an Asian fusion buffet with free time afterwards to explore Jersey’s town centre.
Seafood Lunch and wildlife spotting on the Ecrehous
Take in the beauty of Jersey on a wildlife spotting trip and exclusive lunch on the Ecrehous sandbank. On your journey to and from the sandbank, you will have the opportunity to spot the unique wildlife of the island. This can include a variety of different types of seabirds, seals and on some occasions, bottle-nosed dolphins.
In between, guests will be treated to a bespoke lunch on the Ecrehous sandbank with Lobster, Crab and Oysters all sourced locally on around Jersey. This small island provides beautiful views out to sea towards France. This tiny archipelago, part of Jersey’s Coastal National Park, is one of the Channel Islands best kept secrets. You will feel like you are in the middle of the ocean, but you are only 9.6 kilometres north-east of Jersey.
At low tide the archipelago’s landmass triples in size and the landscape becomes more like a moonscape with the rocky islets linked by sandbanks. There is plenty to do with rock pools to explore and the shallow waters are perfect for swimming.
Dinner at the Royal Yacht
At the conclusion of the Ecrehous trip, guests will be taken back to the hotel for some time to freshen up before taking the short walk to the Royal Yacht for a fantastic dinner experience.
The Zephyr restaurant in the Royal Yacht is an ideal place to enjoy a lazy summer evening. There is a variety of dishes running throughout the evening.
Zephyr is the vibrant social hub of St Helier. The restaurant offers something for everyone. Contemporary styling and a buzzing atmosphere, you are sure to come across a variety of locals and tourists and see what island life is really like.
