Take in the beauty of Jersey on a wildlife spotting trip and exclusive lunch on the Ecrehous sandbank. On your journey to and from the sandbank, you will have the opportunity to spot the unique wildlife of the island. This can include a variety of different types of seabirds, seals and on some occasions, bottle-nosed dolphins.
In between, guests will be treated to a bespoke lunch on the Ecrehous sandbank with Lobster, Crab and Oysters all sourced locally on around Jersey. This small island provides beautiful views out to sea towards France. This tiny archipelago, part of Jersey’s Coastal National Park, is one of the Channel Islands best kept secrets. You will feel like you are in the middle of the ocean, but you are only 9.6 kilometres north-east of Jersey.
At low tide the archipelago’s landmass triples in size and the landscape becomes more like a moonscape with the rocky islets linked by sandbanks. There is plenty to do with rock pools to explore and the shallow waters are perfect for swimming.
Dinner at the Royal Yacht
At the conclusion of the Ecrehous trip, guests will be taken back to the hotel for some time to freshen up before taking the short walk to the Royal Yacht for a fantastic dinner experience.
