Dress Code
Whilst there is no formal dress code in place, we appreciate many do like to dress up for the Festival.
Cheltenham Racecourse is the Home of Jump Racing and The Cheltenham Festival is home to some of the finest racing in the world, and with the finest racing often comes the finest fashion.
During The Cheltenham Festival, fancy dress is not permitted in Hospitality, restaurant facilities, or in the Club Enclosure.
Fancy dress is permitted in other areas as long as the outfit isn’t offensive, and at our discretion, we reserve the right to decline entry should the need arise.
Most male guests tend to choose Collar & Tie. Minimum attire Smart Casual. The racecourse suggests: wrap up warm!

Getting to Cheltenham Racecourse
Car
Please follow the recommended routes signed by the AA. There are extensive car parks, which are accessbile by pre-paid label only. We would advise clients travelling by car to utilise the parking area accessible from Southam Lane as this is the nearest parking location with regard to all hospitality facilities.
Bus
If you’re arriving via the Stagecoach public buses, please ensure you have viewed the timetable which will operate during the festival. There will be four 17 seater minibuses from the taxi area running from 4:00pm daily.
Train
The nearest train station is Cheltenham Spa. There is a dedicated Races bus service for the Cheltenham Festival from Cheltenham Spa Railway Station. Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway is an alternative form of transport for the Cheltenham Festival. Leaving from Toddington arriving at Cheltenham Racecourse after a 35- minute journey through the beautiful countryside of the Cotswolds, Malverns and Vale of Evesham.
Air
Cheltenham Racecourse welcomes arrivals on racedays by helicopter, and operates the busiest temporary airfield in the UK, receiving 400 flights over The Festival week alone.
