An Invitation to dine in a Royal Palace

For a truly unique invitation that your guests just cannot refuse why not invite them to a private dinner in a Royal Palace. You can hire exclusively London’s smallest Royal Palace for an evening of fine dining and entertainment that will live in your guest’s memories long after the evening ends.

Set within the picturesque Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Kew Palace provides an intimate setting for dinner parties or receptions. This well kept secret palace was closed for 10 years for extensive restoration work and was re-opened in April 2006 for HM The Queen’s 80th Birthday dinner.

It has been beautifully represented to appear as it would have done during the residence of George III and Queen Charlotte and provides a fascinating insight into their domestic life and the perfect setting for your evening.

Upon arriving at Kew Palace, guests are greeted at the door and shown through to the exquisite Queen’s Garden for a champagne reception. The perfect background  on an early spring or summer’s evening.

Before guests move through to dinner they will have the opportunity to take a
private guided tour of the Palace with a historian who will give them a fascinating insight into Georgian life.

Following the tour a Georgian dinner will be served in the grandeur of the King’s Dining Room, which has been accurately restored to its early 19th century appearance. The grand and imposing King’s Dining Room will comfortably seat up to 24 guests on one long elegant table, which will be adorned with flower arrangements in your chosen colours.

You can choose to have a four course menu which is designed to complement the Georgian theme or if you prefer (they did like their heavy starchy food) a more contemporary menu is available.

Throughout the course of the evening there will be subtle and suitable musical accompaniment from our duo of flute and harpist playing the music of the era.
