Blur are back and they’re bring their own ice-cream with them!

To coincide with their new album, Magic Whip, – which is number 1 in the album charts – and their forthcoming UK tour, Blur have created their own flavoured ice-cream. Dairy vanilla custard ice cream rippled with raspberry sauce flavoured ice cream is the latest food venture for the group following their cheese-launching adventure and carbonated drinks.

All these culinary excursions are the brainchild of bassist Alex James, who also owns and operates his own farm. The lip-smacking flavours of the new ice cream will be available exclusively at their UK tour throughout 2015, probably at the bar as well as alongside their memorabilia and back catalogue.

The return of Blur has sparked memories of when Brit-Pop launched in the mid-90s and Oasis and Blur were going head-to-head in the charts and the papers. This year’s concert promises to be an unmissed occasion and must be seen at event.

Tickets are the metaphorical hen’s teeth. However, if you call the team at Oliver Myles Events on 01442 345031 they have some prestigious tickets to the band’s Hyde Park gig on 20 June 2015. Blur will be joined by special guests Metronomy, The Horrors, Jupiter & Okwess International, Drenge, Roots Manuva, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Teleman, Iris Gold, Fufanu and Sugarmen.
