Celebrating 10 years at the Victorian Bath House, London
In 2018, Focus Building Services wanted to stage a celebratory event with colleagues and suppliers to recognise ten years of business. For this they engaged Oliver Myles Events, who helped to organise an event that will live long in the memory. The occasion marked ten years since Managing Director, Michael Watmore, left his role as a plumber and joined forces with former estimator, Cherisse Harris.
A number of venues were suggested, but the Victorian Bath House (https://www.victorianbathhouse.co.uk/) really resonated due to its quirkiness and how it complemented the company’s line of work. Focus enjoyed the exclusive use of the Victorian Bath House.
Oliver Myles managed the entire event, liaising with senior management to ensure the occasion lived up to their expectations. For instance, a specially designed menu and subsequent tasting was provided as well as cocktails and a wide assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to celebrate this fantastic occasion.
The theme of mechanical engineering flowed throughout the evening and the assembled guests loved it! The drinks could be found in an illuminated bath as was also an infused gin station. A professional pickpocket and magician entertained the guests, whilst also keeping them all on their toes!
The business is looking forward to the next ten years!
